Raven (Pooh Bear) was born on July 9, 2001.
I was looking for a new little friend for Zelda, she has been so lonely and has been missing
Rainbow so much since she passed away. Zelda has Boofer and Maggie to keep her
company but it was just not the same as having a little friend to call her own. I looked
and looked and couldn't find any puppies anywhere, then finally on August the
22nd I saw some free puppies in the paper and
went to take a look at them. She was the sweetest little thing, I just had to bring
her home.. I knew that Zelda would love her very much. Raven's mom is a black chow weighing in at about 60 to 70 pounds
and her daddy is a English mastiff weighing in at about 160 pounds. Took her for her first
check up at the vet at 6 weeks and she weighed a little over 9 pounds. I'm not sure how big she will
get, but it doesn't really matter because she has latched on to all of our hearts and Zelda is crazy
about her.

We
bought this little wagon with the idea that Raven
would love to pull it around, and she does.
But her idea most of the time is to have me &
the kids pull her around. Wagon wheels are
trying to buckle from her weight, must get bigger
wagon... : )

UPDATE:
11/5/01 I weighed Raven today and at four
months of age, she's now a whopping 37 pounds!!
Also got a bigger wagon to pull Raven in.

11/17/01
-As you can see, Raven is growing by the day. She
now weighs 42 pounds (11/29/01). She has a great
personality. Zelda's little baby is almost
as big as her. Maggie has also taken quite a
liking to Raven, they have wrestling matches.
